Murray Region
The Murray River forms the border between New South Wales and Victoria. It's origin is in the Great Dividing Range and extends all the way into South Australia some 2,800 km away.
The river provides irrigation for may agriculturally based industries and winds its way through many river side towns like Mildura and Echuca. There are paddle steamer cruises along the river, kyak trips, water skiing as well as the wineries for tastings.
