Batemans Bay
This area is a popular holiday area where there are plenty of things to do and see. Batemans Bay and the surrounding area has some beautiful coastline with sheltered swimming areas as well as surf. The water is clean and clear and provides the area with excellent fishing and seafood for the most discerning of palates.
Forest and coastal walks are popular, including the historic Corn Trail, Murramarang National Park, Shallow Crossing and South Durras. In spring, you can watch for migrating whales on their way to the southern oceans to nurse their young.

Batemans Bay has numerous water based activities from game fishing, where the area holds several World and Australian records. Local boat operators can take you out for a day's reef fishing. Boating, diving, windsurfing body boarding and surfing all possible in the area.
