Melbourne is the capital city of Victoria and the second-largest city in Australia. It is situated on the Yarra River and Port Phillip Bay. Melbourne is considered to be one of Australia’s most cosmopolitan cities where cafes, fine food, wines and the arts are highly regarded. The city is lush with many beautiful gardens, parks and sculptures scattered throughout. 
South Bank, close to the city heart and situated on the Yarra, is lively yet relaxed area that caters for coffee buffs and conesouirs of fine food. Melbourne’s 3.8 million population, is both multicultural (with large Greek, Italian, Jewish, Vietnamese and other immigrant communities) and sports-mad.
